Today we went to the zoo to see the birds of the air and the creatures that live in the water and while we were there we talked about the 5th day of Creation and reviewed Days 1-4.
The kids were excited each time they found a bird or fish or something that swam or flew. :)
We had lunch out on the large lawn by the elephants and Jude wanted us to take several group photos... and each time he thought it would be soooo funny if he were looking away from the camera when the timer took the picture. So this photo was me getting him to look at the camera and it was pretty funny:
The weather was just beautiful, and because kids are back in school the zoo wasn't crazy packed like usual. And a lot of the animals were out, which I'm guessing because it wasn't too hot or too cold. We spent about 3 hours there. Here are some other beautiful animals we saw...
