Happy 3rd Birthday Benjamin!!

Our baby is THREE!! That went fast. 

I could not be more thrilled that God gave us this little man! He is our happy, excited, sweet boy, who is thoughtful and determined, imaginative, and sometimes feisty! ;) He was SO EXCITED that it was his birthday today! He's been counting down the days. When he woke up this morning he said so proudly, "Mom, I'm 3 now!"

Due to the snow, we had to reschedule his big family birthday party for January. Because he had been counting down for his party, and was beyond excited about it, we knew we still needed to have a little one here at home with our immediate family. When his cake came out of the oven this afternoon he excitedly ran around the house asking everyone if they would like to come smell his cake. :) He helped make the frosting and told me that he wanted snow, Jude, Selah and himself (with eyes, a nose and smile), and the number 3 on his cake. 

Cake decorating is not my specialty. ;) 

But the birthday boy didn't know any better! He loved it. Aw man, that smile melts me every time!! <3

Faces of excitement for cake...

We sang and he blew out his candles... and he requested that we do it again and again... so we did! :)

We then cut out stick figure Ben and put him on a plate. Stick figure Jude & Selah were also eaten by their human counterparts.

There have been hours of imaginary play since his gifts were opened. Happy Birthday Benji-man! xoxo
