Pizza Picnic

We rarely ever eat out because of our diet, but we decided to be super spontaneous tonight and go grab a gluten-free, dairy-free pizza from Mississippi Pizza tonight and take it to the Portland Rose Gardens and have a picnic! It was really fun, and these simple things often make the sweetest memories to me. :)

It was so warm out this evening! And the kids had fun playing hide-n-seek among the rose bushes. Benjamin was right in the middle of it all, thinking he was keeping up with the big kids too. ;) Sweetest little guy.
{Jude opted out of pizza, which is probably for the best anyway, just to not risk any possible cross-contamination... even though the place we got our pizza from is so good to have the gf pizzas made in a separate room, with their own separate oven, and the crusts are made off-site and wrapped, so no wheat flour comes into contact with them, etc. But even still, with Jude's crazy tummy/system, it's probably for the best. So he was playing in the bushes and not in the picture.}

Counting and finding...

It got dark quickly. I always love the view of the city from up there, and I just LOVE summer evenings!

What a beautiful place to have a picnic! It's true; it's usually the spontaneous moments that make the best memories.

You have such a sweet family Bethany! It's fun to see your kids grow up through your amazing pictures. I can't wait to meet Benjamin and hope it's not too long before I see you all again!
