Back in March...

... when Josh was on a business trip, the kids and I visited Granddad Kevin and Grandma Janet for a couple days. We always have fun there, doing greenhouse stuff, or picking flowers, or walking down by the river. It's quiet and peaceful.

One afternoon when we were in the dining room we looked out and saw some guys in a kayaks coming down the river. Grandma Janet took the kids down closer to watch them ride the rapids.

She also put together some containers for the kids to plant seeds in that they could watch grow. They had a fun time pushing the seeds down into the little soil balls.

One of the days we were there we got to spend with Grandma Chris! She was so sweet to bring over paints and bird houses for us all to paint!

Spending time with family is always a treat and it made the time that Josh was away much easier.
