It was great to meet up with lots of other families from our church and study God's Word together, eat together, and relax by the water.
I loved our time by the lake. We sat with sweet friends and talked while the kids swam. It filled my tank.

Josh and I took the kids out in the canoes. We got to see several turtles sunbathing among the lily pads.
Our buddy Elliott went out in our boat with us.
Selah was so happy that a friend helped her to overcome her fear of lake water. :) She kind of felt like she would be swimming in a dirty fishbowl, but got over it quickly.
These friends had so much fun playing "fish out of water" all over the playground.
Josh and I got to teach the nine-to-eleven year olds one evening with our friends Eric & Amy. We played on the courts, talked about God's provision through the story of the fish and loaves, and did a craft.
The camp had these train cars that were converted to cabins (we stayed in a lodge), and they also had train cars for the kids to climb on. We adults laughed when we looked over and saw Selah like this as we were hanging out, talking one evening!
On our last day at camp it was this handsome guys' 40th birthday, as well as Father's Day! The kids and I surprised him with cards, chocolates and specials bars of soap that we knew he'd love.
Even though we'd had a wonderful time away, we were so happy to be headed back home to sleep in our own beds after having been away almost two weeks between Sunriver, Seattle, and church camp! :) We're so thankful for God's love for us and the life He's given us to enjoy together!
